18th Century Bakery Table
We sourced this beautiful table from a house in Lucca, just North of Pisa, in Italy.
We were very drawn to the beautiful honey colour and the amazing framed single plank of oak, that makes the top.
A simple shape with stunning very smooth oak. We have added the reclaimed pine shelves to make this more useful as a drapers table / kitchen island / console.
In good structural condition with incredible character to the wood which we have waxed. There is historic beetle damage to the inside of some of the legs. This is very solid and sturdy. We have re-treated any signs of worm in the pine boards to be on the safe side.
