1950's Engineers Cabinets

Sold

These were sourced from a large collection of vintage banks of drawers forming an entire wall of an Engineers Workshop near Hereford.

Although these were filled with car parts, gaskets etc, on the reverse of the labels were written a list of alphabetical names.  Giving the impression that these cabinets were originally made and used for something like a solicitors.

They are very well made of solid oak with brass handles.  Both of which have been given a good clean and a light polish - retaining much of their fantastic original colour and patina.  A few bumps and scrapes as per the pictures.

Drawers all run smoothly - the drawer dividers can be removed for £ 50 per cabinet.

Just 1 now darker one now available.

We have added the wooden 'plinths' to increase the height.

78 cm h x 137 l x 41 d (drawer without dividers 9.5 h x 33 d x 18.2 w).
