Huge Wood and Zinc Sieves

These interesting vintage sieves or riddles came from a large fruit farm near Avignon, France.
These were used for riddling cherries, which basically means sieving out any small stones etc when the cherries are picked off the ground.
We love these mounted on the wall as a decoration.
Wooden frames with zinc - all authentic with plenty of patina.
