Fantastically Distressed Chest of Drawers

This handsome chest of drawers was sourced in France. Circa 1920 it has an interesting detailing on the front face around the drawers and classic 1920's fittings.
At some stage it has been stripped producing this fantastic patina, revealing the wood and some of the original paint.
More recently it has had some restoration including the addition of the industrial looking steel base - the burnished steel and rivets add to the oversized feel and period of the piece.
