We brought this out of a factory in Northern France where it had been very well used and abused. It was painted green with several oil spills on it, all looking rather sad.
We have had it shot blasted, producing this fantastic piece of industrial furniture. The subtle difference in the colours of the hard and soft woods looks great.
Shot blasting produces a clean but very raised grain of the wood - it is by no means smooth and has a lovely texture to it.
Some old woodworm which has been treated.
85 cm h x 216 l x 59.5 d at the base and 51.5 d at the top.
