Circa 1877 Painted Chest

This interesting chest has been signed and dated by the various people who have made use of it. The first date is 1877.
It is really intriguing, it is also signed by Katalin Martini in 1959 and she has added the town of Palotabozsok, which is in the South of Hungary, giving us its' provence.
It has been painted a few times over the years and several different shades of blue show through - wonderful natural patina, a few bumps and scrapes, some old woodworm which has been re-treated to be on the safe side.
There was something written across the front in red which is hard to make out. No key.
