1920's Century Crane Sign

Sold

This is a fantastic industrial decorative item.  The naturally distressed paint is in fantastic untouched original condition - all 100 % authentic.

Priestman was a company set up in the mid 1800's by the Priestman Brothers. They designed and produced one of the first combustion engines as well as various cranes and dredging equipment from the Holderness Foundry in Hull.

We believe that this would have hung under the main weight of an early 20th century crane, possibly earlier.

Such original pieces of English Industrial Heritage are becoming increasingly hard to find.

50.5 cm h x 194 l x 5.5 d.
