Antique French Bottles
We love the irregular shape of these 19th Century, French, handblown bottles.
Also know as Demijohns or Carboys these were used mostly for storing wine.
The clearer bottle is circa 1900 and blown into a mould rather than free blown like the others which are older.
We haven't cleaned the insides of these as fun to show their history - once they are cleaned you can't go back.
Clear c.1900 bottle 51 cm h x 40 dia.
Thick glass, dark green bottle 57 cm h x 41 dia.
Great decorative pieces.
Just the x1 of these now available - bottom right in the first picture. Priced and sold individually.
