Painted Spanish Chest
This late 19th Century chest of drawers has been expertly hand painted by our friend Jose in Catalonia. With three drawers, the piece is both a functional storage chest but also a statement of artistry.
Beautiful colours/patina and bold geometric design, characteristic of the Iberian Peninsula’s enduring Moorish influence.
Structurally in good condition with some signs of old worm which we have treated to be on the safe side.
Definitely going to have one of these at home !
