Based on an Italian decorative painted ottoman, the United Colours footstool / bench is handmade and painted in-house in the Cotswolds.
United Colours
Upholstered Bench / Footstool handmade in-house by yours truly in our workshop in the Cotswolds. A one-off piece. The inspiration for these benches came from an antique Italian Ottoman which we bought and sold with a similar construction.
Made from solid timbers and painted using many layers of colours in this case predominantly Paint and Paper colours and upholstered with a heavy weight cloth shop linen. These boxes are designed with seats that lift up with storage underneath.
We love the idea of this being used in front of or behind a sofa, at the end of a bed and of course as a hallway bench.
