C19th French Chest of Drawers

A charming French provincial chest of drawers, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, finished in its original painted surface. The piece retains a beautifully timeworn palette of soft ochre and pale grey, enriched by delicate hand-painted neoclassical motifs to the drawer fronts. Standing on turned tapering legs, with later patinated brass ring pulls that sit comfortably with the overall aesthetic.
