Fish Supper Painting
Signed J. De Bruyne and dated 1933. This is a wonderful still life of various fish and sea food, water jug, wine glass and clay cooking pot – everything needed for a delicious fish stew.
Oil on canvas with original frame which has some patina as per its age.
Joris de Bruyne 1896-1965. Self-taught Flemish painter who took support and advice from Martin Bollé. He specialised in winter landscapes, seascapes , still lifes and flowers.
