This antique commode was sourced in Provence.
Many layers of paint have been 'washed' back to reveal these older colours and to produce this great finish and colour.
We love the shape and the way the feet and the top drawer have been incorporated into this.
Some restoration with old retreated woodworm and we have re-worked the drawers so that they all run smoothly.
The top has been repainted a graphite black and has been waxed.
