19th Century Italian Butchers Block

Sourced from a family butchers in Turin, Italy, this is a very unusual antique butchers block.
Circa 1850 the actual chopping block is one solid piece of tree - super heavy with masses of character.
This piece has had woodworm which has been re-treated to be on the safe side. It looks very rustic but is structurally sturdy and certainly functional.
