This 1920's shop counter was sourced from a Biscuiterie in Montceau - Les - Mines, France.
It had some Gateau Roulé labels in one of the drawers and the shop was called 'Biscuiterie Serge'.
Unusually it is double sided - perfect for splitting a room.
The original paint has been scrapped back producing this lovely patina. The cupboard is in good structural condition although has a very small amount of ( old treated ) woodworm and the drawers run as per their age.
