19th Century Accountants Drawers

Another piece we found on a recent trip to Parma, Italy.
This lovely set of drawers would have originally been part of a very long set.
Some of the brass knobs have letters on them, sadly not the whole alphabet.
All very authentic with masses of character and patina to the original paint - a few bumps and scrapes. The right hand side has been re-painted. Where the drawers were missing we have lined the insides and painted them a dark blue, making useful pigeon holes.
We love this at the end of a sofa as a side table or at the end of a bed.
