We are very pleased with how this table has come together.
The cast iron base of this vintage industrial table was once a c1910 corn crush for making animal feed. This has been burnished leaving some of the original blue paint and then lacquered to fix the patina.
The top was a fork lift truck platform form holland which has had the steel burnished and the top lightly sanded, leaving much of the original patina, and then finished with a shellac lacquer producing a wipeable and spill friendly finish.
It is fairly heavy.
