19th Century Glazed Bookcase

Sourced from a large house near to Grenoble, France - this beautiful bibliothèque would have originally been painted.
Now stripped of this paint the antique pine frame has interesting and subtle colour variations. This natural colour contrasts with the restored and painted inside of the cupboard. The shelves are mostly pine but lined with a bevelled oak along the front edge.
All in all a lovely piece.
