19th Century Painted Sideboard

Circa 1880 this beautiful cupboard was sourced from a shop in Nimes, France.
When we brought it it was yellow in colour all over. We noticed that under this was this lovely dusty blue. We stripped the yellow from the panels revealing this lovely colour and adding character to the piece.
Overall this has had a lot of restoration including new boards along the back, new shelves and firmed up along the base - all now very sturdy. Some of these new pieces have been painted to match in with the original yellow.
Lovely natural crackling to the original paint.
