If only we lived in a house large enough for this, I would certainly be keeping it !
This huge island was sourced in the North of France, from a large bakers, where it was used as a work surface and filled with rolling pins and moulds etc.
It is in excellent condition for its age and the fantastic cast iron wheels enable it to be moved around with relative ease even though it is very heavy.
As per the pictures it has masses of colour and patina to the wood and handles which vary between a few of the drawers. A few bumps and scrapes.
We love this as a huge kitchen island or as a centre piece in a restaurant.
