These are a rather fine pair of chairs. It is unusal to find these chairs with quite such elegance, lovely scrolls to the arms and backs. The frames are also much thinner than usual.
Mid 19th Century these have been stripped back and are ready for upholstery. The seats have been re-sprung. The frames are in good sturdy condition.
A local upholsterer has quoted £350 + vat per chair + 4 m fabric per chair.
