Apothecary Bank of Drawers

Circa 1920's this huge antique apothecary bank of drawers was sourced in Normandy, France.
When we found it had been painted with thick layer of brown paint. So imagine our delight when we stripped it back to review these fantastic enamel plaques describing all sorts of dried herbs and spices. It is really quite a rare piece.
Made from pine with steel cup handles. All in all in good structural condition with a few bumps and scrapes and masses of character.
