Early 19 th Century Painted Cupboard

Sourced from near Avignon, France. This wire fronted cupboard has a very strong look to it, it really is a statement piece.
First quarter of the 19th Century this has really stood the test of time and wears all of that history at face value.
Masses of natural patina to the original paint and a few bumps and scrapes - it is quite a rustic piece which has had notable woodworm which has been re-treated to be on the safe side, all part of the charm.
Also note that the left hand side has never been painted.
