Oak and Steel Sideboard

Sourced on the French / Belgium border this antique sideboard is circa 1900.
It is mostly made from oak but has also had modern elements added to it. For example the top has been repainted and the panels within the cupboard doors are blackened steel. We think this contrasts beautifully with the oak, as both the steel and the wood have a subtle patina.
Open up the doors on the right and behold this beautiful mini bank of dusty blue drawers.
All in all an interesting and unusual piece.
