6 Dining Chairs by Arne Jacobsen

These 'Oxford High Back Chairs' were designed by Arne Jacobsen, Manufactured by Fritz Hansen. Circa 1965.

These were originally designed for the dining halls of St Catherines Collage in Oxford. The idea being that the Dons would sit on these taller chairs, looking more prestigious than their students. Arne Jacobsen was one of the most influential designers in Danish Modernism.

These are sold in their original condition with some ware to both the chrome swivel bases and notable ware and marks to the fabric. We would suggest having these re upholstered and can arrange this locally.
