We brought a few of these unusual pressed fibre tubes, really because they were so interesting with great colour and form. These are used in the textile industry as spools, wrapped in cotton thread, for the looms.
Some time after buying these i then found these bases. These are moulds used to spin metal around to form bowls etc.
We have married the two together to produced these interesting and unusual table lamps.
Natural patina to the stems and the bases which have been re-polished but have quite a few bumps and scrapes.
Fully re-wired with triple twisted black braided flex, PAT tested.
The sizes do vary from 56 - 59 cm h and the bases 16 - 23 across.
Priced and sold individually, without shades.
