We found these unusual metal tins in Spain and on looking at them thought they might have held oil or grease. When we came to clean them we discovered the sweet smell of honey, as there were the remains of honey comb inside.
These interesting containers / bins have been given a good clean and the wooden lids restored and waxed.
They retain masses of natural patina and are structurally sturdy.
Useful umbrella stands or simply as bins.
