Antique French Armchair

This is a classic 19th Century Napoleon III armchair.
We were drawn to this by the condition of both the chair which is very solid, springs and all AND the fabric which is also very good.
The fabric, which I'm going to describe the colour as a pale satin gold, is not as old as the chair - probably 20th century. It is not new and does have a few small marks on it, as well as some lovely wear. The navy band along the base only just covers where there was once a frilly band. Please look closely at the pictures.
It is a lovely cosy antique chair in great condition.
