Originally these antique linen cushions were grain sack from Hungary. Often the harvest was done as a collective and each family had their own pattern or colour sown into the sacks so they could identified which were theirs.
The linen grain sacks are early 20th century and have been washed, and turned into cushions with zips and duck down inserts.
