1930's Drapery Shop Counter

We love the classic 1930's proportions of this pine tongue and groove, vintage shop counter.
Sourced from an old factory in Nottingham. We have spent a few days restoring and converting this. Both sides, the shelving and the base have been replaced. We have also re-hung the drawers with modern soft closing mechanisms ( old meets new ). Unusual Bakelite drawer handles.
Some signs of historic worm which has been re-treated to be on the safe side. Now very good and sturdy and practical as a kitchen island or counter. Where possible we have left as much as the original patina as possible.
