1930's French Shop Counter

This early 20th century shop counter was sourced in Northern France.
Lovely natural patina to the painted top. It looks like the pale yellow colour of the body has been done later, it is quite thin and you can see the natural crazing of the paint through it and it has plenty of wear. My photography lights make it look like quite a vibrant yellow - really it is fairly pale in colour. Please get in touch if you would like to see a video of it which gives a good indication to the vibrancy.
It has had some restoration, strengthening the base and we have added the shelf. Some signs of old worm which we have re-treated to be on the safe side.
A few bumps and scrapes and masses of character.
