19th Century French Shop Counter

Sourced from an 'épicier' in Limoges this is a really useful vintage counter / side table.
There has been some restoration, mostly along the base. And the back has been repainted. Apart from that the finish / patina is totally original and rather wonderful.
Circa 1900 the drawers have been given the once over and open freely. The top has been finished with a lacquer to seal in the patina and produce a cleaner finish.
These are great for sideboards as well as kitchen islands.
Some notable / re-treated woodworm.
