19th Century Haberdashery Chest of Drawers

We sourced this handsome bank of drawers in Provence, France.
Circa 1880's it has had a good life and been well used. Sadly the top was beyond repair having been giving a good beating in a workshop. We have replaced the top with some Dutch cheese boards.
The frame of this antique painted cupboard is made from oak with pine drawers. It is good and sturdy and notably heavy. Lovely patina to the original paint.
The tops of the top drawers have had fairly extensive woodworm which has been re treated. Some old repairs to the back.
The drawers are good but not perfect.
