19th Century Industrial Shelves
Sold
This is right up my street ! Circa 1870 this industrial shelving unit is made of steel and wrought iron. All put together using a hot riveting method. This was a process used to make ships and other things they did not want falling apart.
No nonsense industrial design at its best.
Lovely natural patina to the metal with a few bumps and scrapes. The texture of the old steel is fantastic.
169 cm h x 181 w x 41 d ( each shelf opening 27.5 cm h x 87 w x 41 d).
