A pair of Corner Cupboards
Going by the construction and the large square nails holding the oak tops in place we believe these to be 18th Century. Sourced in France with a wonderfully naturally distressed paint over the oak cases.
We have given these some restoration and they are good and sturdy, some old retreated woodworm. The one on the right has its original key the other we have added a magnetic catch.
One of the shelves has rather crudely had sections cut out of it - we have seen this before and believe it is to fit tall wine bottles in.... a perfect place to leave your liquors brewing! We can replace the shelf if required.
84.5 cm h x 92 corner to corner across the front. The wall edges are 63 cm each.
Priced and sold individually or £ 1100.00 for the pair.
