We have been keen to get our hands on some of these antique French confit pots for ages and have finally found a good supplier who trawls through all the local markets in Provence.
This type of glazed pot has been used for at least 100 years for preserving meats. Confit of duck being one of my favourites.
Beautiful decorative pieces.
A few bumps and scrapes - all very authentic and bags of character.
