We sourced this mirror in Brittany, France. It is a Early 19th century gilt reeded mirror.
Beautifully made as can be seen in the picture showing the back and we love the wrought iron hanging loops. Please note it is fairly heavy.
It has masses of character, with quite a lot of knocks to the gilding and a large variation of colour to the frame - please look at the pictures closely. The highlight of this antique mirror is the original mercury plate which has a fantastic mottled patina.
