Antique Spanish Terracotta Pots
This latest batch of antique pots have all come from the Castellon region of Spain and are the style of the region.
The larger pots, C,E,G,A, and K are circa 1900 and having the wonderful green glaze would have been used for storing Olives.
The smaller pots with more decoration and detail are older, mid 19th century and the Cosi Pot ( L ) is early 19th century. Used for storing grains and other dry goods.
These are particularly useful in the garden as they have wide bases and are thick / heavy terracotta. All have been checked for cracks and are all good apart from the Cosi ( L ) which has old repairs and would not be recommend for outside. Being antique pots there is no guarantee against frost damage. However, these are properly made by hand and thus far haven't had any negative feedback with this.
Also lovely interior pieces whether planted with a fig tree or just filling an awkward space.
