We bought this huge 1940's counter/factory unit, from a bicycle repair shop on the French/Belgium border. Apparently, it had another life before in a florist shop.
Looking closely at it you can see that the top has been changed at some stage.
In great condition with some signs of old worm on the interior base which we have re-treated to be on the safe side. We have waxed the outside and sealed the top and the shelf with a matt varnish. A few bumps and scrapes, plenty of character.
The material is predominantly pine with some oak and iroko in places on the top. The drawers have dividers which we could remove if preferred.
Ideal for a kitchen or shop.
