Both the frame and top of this vintage factory workbench are made from solid oak, making it a very sturdy / heavy table.
The shelf, which we have added, was reclaimed from a Dutch cheese factory.
The top has masses of scratches, marks etc, you can even see where a vice was attached. This has all been sanded and finished with a shellac lacquer to seal in the patina and create a more hygienic / spills and thrills / user friendly surface.
Lovely natural patina to the painted frame.
