Painted French Bank of Drawers
Late 19th Century, unusually this stunning antique sideboard has the drawers opening on either side. It was sourced from a country house in Northern France and used in the centre of a large drawing room.
Although it was intended to be accessed from both sides we also think it looks very happy against the wall as a sideboard. If you intend on using it like this let us know and we will add some drawer stoppers to prevent the drawers bashing the wall.
Made from painted pine which has been dry scraped to reveal the older colours, no paint has been added. Overall it is in good structural condition, having had some restoration and all the drawers run smoothly. The handles on the backside are new.
88 cm h x 230.5 l x 69.5 d.
