English Station Clock

Sold

We are pretty sure this is a bit of a marriage.  We believe the steel case to be circa 1900, maybe older, complete with original thick paint which has a few knocks and scrapes.

Obviously the octagonal shape of the case doesn't really marry with the round 1950's ITR clock face.  We are rather fond of this as it accentuates both the shape of the face and the case.

ITR stands for International Time Recorders which was owned by IBM - hence the IBM typeface - note the 10.

We have replaced the mechanism with a high torque battery movement.  All in all in good order with a small scratch on the glass.
