Sourced on a recent trip to Belgium this vintage workbench would have been one of many workstations for assembling components. Each being numbered.
It is extremely robust and very heavy with a thick oak top. We have sanded and oiled the top and replaced the moulding around the base. Apart from that it has been given a good clean and a once over. A good usable piece but retaining much of its character and patina. Note the slightly flaky paint in places and damage to one of the drawer's fronts.
All drawers and doors sliding as they should. Perfect as an island or sideboard.
