These vintage industrial lights are cast aluminium and were designed to be explosion proof. Designed to light mines, obviously if the lights go out you are n serious trouble !
These were made in the 1950's in former East Germany. These were painted red which we have removed and polished the bulk of the lights leaving some of the red paint to give them some individuality.
These are supplied with the red cages which can easily be removed if you prefer the lights without them - i cant quite decide myself !
These are supplied with 1 m of black braided flex, steel chunky chain and ceiling hook.
All the wiring has been fully checked and these are ready to be used. E27 bulb holders.
40 cm h ( 45 with cage ) x 28 across.
