Glasses Factory Panels
We love unusual things and these really fit the bill.
These panels are from a Spanish factory that manufactured glasses / eyewear. The panels hold all of the different styles of frames as metal blanks. These blanks would have been used in a machine as a pattern that was then cut around to produce the frames.
Some of the frames are zinc and some aluminium giving a fish scale effect across the board.
Made from painted pine boards early 20th century.
Such a fun and intriguing wall display. Some signs of historic worm which has been thoroughly re-treated to be on the safe side. A few bumps and scrapes - lots of character.
