Produced in the 1950's in the Czech Republic these are without doubt the most hardcore lights were have sourced.
These were used in a steel works. Unusually the gallery is not cast aluminium but cast steel. Therefore these weigh a tonne.... 25 Kg each !
Caged glass dome and enamel shade.
No these will not hang from a plaster board !
We have given these a good clean leaving much of the original patina with a few bumps and scrapes here and there, being so hardcore they are in great condition.
We have replaced the fittings with new brass E27 bulb holders and these come with 4 yr life span LED bulbs, black braided flex, heavy chain and ceiling hook.
We love these hung over a sideboard or on really long chains in a stairwell.
