Large Factory Workbench / Island

Circa 1930's this huge workbench was sourced from a textile factory in Lille, France.
It is a big heavy duty table built to withstand the rigours or factory life. The top is oak with thick pine planks underneath, with steel legs and frame. It is particularly heavy...but not wobbly at all. It has been well made and all solid.
Lots of character to the surface with marks from cutting and stamping out leathers.
We have added the top shelf to give some more storage space.
We love this in a retail space or as a large kitchen island. You could even have it in a restaurant to sit at on stools.
