These French metal baskets date to around circa 1900 and were used to store and carry these very large demijohn bottles which would have been filled with wine or olive oil.
The bottles would have sat inside the baskets surrounded by straw to protect them.
We have converted them into these fun pendant lights with new brass E27 bulb holders and are supplied with chain, ceiling roses and 1.5 m of twisted braided flex. Different chains and flex colour available.
