Mid 19th Century Camera Tripod Lamp
We believe this tripod or camera stand dates back to around 1850. A beautifully made piece, designed to be broken down with just 3 chunky screws holding everything together.
The Elm has a lovely patina and the cast iron handle lifts the light up and down.
We have converted this into a lamp with the flex hidden down the inside of one of the legs. The idea was to have this at the end of a sofa as a reading light or in a room corner.
90 - 106 cm h x 70 x 70. Sold without the shade.
