Painted French Desk

Sourced from a house in Normandy, we believe this desk to be late 19th century.
It has a great painted finish and we like the fact that this can sit comfortably in the centre of a space with both sides being seen.
We have gone over this with wire wool to remove any lose paint and this process reveals old layers and colours of paint. In good structural condition with an old repair to one corner. We only have the key for the cupboard on the right.
